The Burundi Tourism Awards are the official recognition of Burundi tourism excellence, conferred by a Selection Committee. These awards are presented during the Burundi Tourism Week in Bujumbura (11 to 14 December 2024) and are bestowed in a Gala Ceremony attended by representatives from politics, the press, and the world of tourism.
The primary objective of the Awards is to promote high-level tourism, safeguard and enhance the natural and cultural heritage of Burundi, foster competitiveness, and uphold standards of excellence in service. The awards showcase the destination, hotels, restaurants, coffee shop and other institutions to the public, highlighting those distinguished by special merits that are deserving of representation and hosting in Burundi.
